Sprint stepping up the cell phone plan competition

It seems as Sprint PCS is boosting the competition for cell phone plans. They have introduced the flex plan such that you do not have to pay an extreme high bill if you go over your minutes. Actually, with this flex plan, there are no going over minutes. You can buy 1000 anytime minutes for 55 bucks and after that, you only pay $5 for every 50 minutes. Where as other plans, you have to pay from 35 cents to 45 cents per extra minute. The flex plan I bought into from Sprint was a little different. I pay for up to 700 minutes and after that, I pay 5 bucks for every 100 minutes being used. One month, I was using my phone more than usual and used 1600 minutes. My minutes cost me a total of about 100 bucks. I was happy to see my bill so cheap. If that would have been Verizon, with 1000 anytime minutes (the plan I previously had), I would have paid over 300 bucks.
Also, Sprint is boosting up competition by allowing your anytime minutes to start at 6pm instead of 7pm like its competitors. You pay an additional $10 for your minutes to start at 6pm or an additional $5 for your minutes to start at 7pm. Sweet!!!!
Sprint cell phone plans works well for those of us that do not have landlines and only have cell phones.
