I find it amazing that no media organs have picked up the Al Jazeera/Wafa Sultan interview other than the NY times. This person and her thoughts seem very newsworthy and timely.

it’s astonishing that something as important as this have not been broadcasted on
the major radio and television stations. I think this truth needs to be
heard and boldly spoken by leaders in the Islamic community, but it takes a woman
to boldly speak the truth that men are afraid to do.

I am constantly perplexed at what ours (and other) media chooses and not chooses to broadcast. She summed up the truth so well. I am a man, but I wonder if the world wouldn’t be more peaceful if more women were leading countries - one up for women!!

This is another case or attempt to bamboozle, beguile the american public about Musims around the world. The media and the poison infestation coming from Wafa Sultan is a clear attempt to miseducate the masses. The mojority of the Muslims around world are law abiding citizens who follow rules. You really have to investigate Wafa Sultan’s indoctrination closely to know her true motives. This is the same lady who speaks ill about the Jews and Christian in other settings when they don’t agree with her whims. This is the same lady who takes her ideaolgies from Jean Paul Sartre, Martin Heidegger, Ali Shariati and many others. These are the same people that promote Humanism, Existentialism and Communism. They provide there poison under a disguise cloak of being among the civilised nations when really the are promoting Existentialism ideas, dangerous individual.

More propaganda, eh. There isn’t much difference between Hebrew/Christian and Muslim religions. The difference is we don’t here about the “Christian Holy Wars”, or “Hebrews Speading Terror”. True Christians and Muslims won’t be terrorizing anyone. Is there any difference between a Christian soldier and a Muslim one? Do they bothe believe in their Gods, and feel persecuted, and say prayers, blah, blah, blah. Project for the New American Century has been planning and working to dominate the world. Do we hear about “Christian Terrorists”?

Mary - there’s a world of difference between the religions. Most religions are not supported by history, facts, or archaeology. Many religions worship good men/philosophers; however, these men never claimed to be deity, they were just good moral teachers. As for Christian terrorists - where do you see terrorism originating from Christianity?
