Illegal Immigration

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Thousands of people across the country protested Friday against legislation cracking down on illegal immigrants, with demonstrators in such cities as Los Angeles, Phoenix and Atlanta staging school walkouts, marches and work stoppages.
Congress is considering bills that would make it a felony to be illegally in the United States, impose new penalties on employers who hire illegal immigrants and erect fences along one-third of the U.S.-Mexican border. The proposals have angered many Hispanics.
I don’t understand some people. To me this is a no-brainer. How do you protest something like this? Illegal immigrants come and crowd our public schools, use our medical services, use our welfare and they don’t even pay taxes. Double negative here people! They use all of our services and they don’t pay taxes, but yet we are trying to keep them here. Isn’t this ironic?
Also, how is it fair to other foreigners? Since we are trying to give open borders to Mexico, what about the people in other third world counties who would love to live out here. Like Haitians and Cubans. Hispanics has increased to about 70 percent (raised from 60 percent) of all illegal immigrants, and since the other illegal immigrants are just a small fraction compared to Mexico, then why not let them in with no problem. That is only fair, right? Only focusing on letting Hispanic illegal immigrants would make us prejudice, right?
But please don’t get me wrong here. I am for immigration, but legal immigration. Now if you want Hispanic immigrants to come across our boarders, then fight for easier immigration laws. Laws that would make it easier to get visas. But don’t accept something illegal and make it seem like it is legal. That’s contradicting, isn’t it? At least this way, they will be paying taxes too!

Hispanics are changing the racial demographics of America this is angering many people whom are born white especially. Other non-whites are angry also, but it is the white race that counts the most. Their opinions carry more weight then people of color. Hispanics more power to them and may they increase until the demographics change. We in America need to try something new out and if people of color and whites don’t like it then get ghost and leave America. It does not matter if you were born here. Hispanics are the future and the mixed race people are the future more power to them. Now Hispanics do cause some problems but which ethnicity does not. VIVA LA RAZA!

This show is a biased opinion and I bet I can guess what race you are! “Me”, come with some facts on why should we accept these illegal immigrants.

Someone has been watching WalkOut!!! I think that this country was built on immigration, even if as an African American my people didn’t technically emigrate. However, the problem with illegal immigration goes deeper than the changing demographics of America. Its all about economics. If we don’t have immigrants, the cost of labor in the agriculture sector will go, increasing prices, etc. which I doubt the American agricultural industry can handle. Nor will they let this happen with the amount of lobbying power they hold in Washingotn. Not to mention this will happen in other sectors as well. Besides I doubt anyone besides immigrants would want to do such laborous work. On the other hand, protecting our borders is very important.

La Raza has an agenda to populate the U.S. with hispanics because they feel that the U.S. is theirs. Don’t confuse them with the facts. Many non-political hispanics want to come for a better life but that means that the rest of us must open our wallets ever wider to provide public education, bilingual education, health services and even welfare. Americans are sick of this and the demonstrations of the mexicans waving the mexican flag around, demanding rights will backfire on them. Most are here illegally, they are rude and could care less about our laws. Actually, I think it is good for the public at large to visually see this. Oh, and the comments about blacks “know a lot about breaking the law” is so wrong. Whites and other ethnic groups break the law and are punished if caught. Illegal immigrants will eventually be caught and dealt with. Let’s stick with the issues.

To be honest, I just think that the La Raze uses the “This was our land first” as an excuse to justify why they are over bearing us. But from what I can recall, this land was the Indians first and they took this land from them. So how are they going to get mad at us if we took it from them? But I could be wrong. I am not an historian. But you are right, they are rude and they don’t care. But they have no reason to care because they are now the majority. I think the US should of done something about this issue way earlier. Sometimes it feels like it is too late to do anything about it because it is so many illegal immigrants out here.

There is no legal way to come nto this country now in the 21st century. Your parents immigrated here illegally as well. These people don’t come her to take our resources, they come because they want a better life. They ant to stay in this country. Let’s say you came here illegally and you were going to be deported . You would be happy right, becuase you are agsianst illegal immigration? No! you would feel furuois, sad, and abandoned. Please rethink this and see if you become a more insightful person.

This is not true. There are legal ways to come into the US like student and working VISAs.
This is not true also. My parents were born out here. And my ancestors was forcefully brought out here.
Yes, I do agree they want a better way of living. But you comment on that they are not using up our resources is not true. What do you call filling up our public schools, using our welfare, and using our hospitals without paying any taxes? Consuming resources!
Yes they are. They are not going back unless they have family to take care of out there.
I have thought about this thoroughly and I come up with the same conclusion. There are ways about doing things. Why is it fair for Hispanic illegal immigrants to come to this country and it is not fair for other illegal immigrants?

It’s too late…the horse is out of the barn…this issue should have been dealt with firmly years ago…now you need to be very careful with your anger and hatred..it will destroy our country. I believe in: “Accentuate the positive, Eliminate the negative and don’t mess with mister inbetween.” Black Americans there are as many of you as there are of them…and you are legal…and you don’t have to worry about sneaking your family over the border…you have a lot of advantages…put them to use…get off your butts, stay on your toes…hold your heads up high…work hard…work smart…seek knowledge and education…make demands of your politicians…stop hating yourself and your own race…stop falling into the traps that the white man puts out there for you (dopes sell dope and dopes use dope) and don’t fall for the b.s.. and don’t look back at whose is behind you or in front of you…just keep running for the finish line! And above all: Always think carefully before you jump into a war created by someone else for their purposes and do not be used to further an agenda that is not in your interest…Study hard and know what you are fighting for. WORD…

Gloria, your preaching to the choir!!!
April 9th, 2006 at 4:50 am
You are an infrequent Blogger Tavares (black pundit) really you are and the reason is simple. You are burnt out with it. But you stick around because you want to feel Important, but you are bored this is why you don’t update your blog. But there are no demands to update your blog either, Hispanic pundit updates his blog constantly. So does Latino-pundit you really don’t like blogging why not close down your blog. You have other motives that make you keep your blog open seriously and those motives are you want to feel like an important conservative. But only whites have true power as conservatives we minorities claim it because we can sucker white conservatives out of benefits. A because whites fear being called racist, so they use minorities. This is the real reason why you keep your blog open. And maybe you are apart of some organization too. But don’t like blogging because you only blog2 or 3 times a month you missed some months in the past too.
Gloria gave some good advice, many black do hate themselves that’s why they kill each other and sell each other out for any one or race that will give them something. You are not like Hispanic and Asians we are more unified. Blacks feel inferior and can always be conquered by other because they will always engage in treachery and this part of the reason why they ended up in slavery. Many black are good people too bad they have to deal with certain blacks who are so troublesome.
GOOD points Gloria, Tavares really did not care because the people you mentioned Gloria are black (Tavares is black also). And many blacks don’t value their race or really themselves like whites and others.
Hispanic are the future black pundit (Tavares), by the way did you know that your name Tavares is Spanish also? But you are black right?
When is your next post it has been awhile.
April 9th, 2006 at 9:27 pm
Yes, I am an infrequent Blogger. What is wrong with that? I have a lot on plate and I choose how to prioritize my own time, and blogging is not my highest priority. It is my site, and I’ll blog when I want. Why are you criticizing me because I am an infrequent blogger. And no, I do not need this site to feel that I am important. I know who I am and I know what impact I have on people. I do not need this site to know this. Ask Hispanic pundit, he knows me very well.
What are you talking about here? I am not making any since on what you are saying. Me keeping this site open has nothing to do with white conservatives!
Do you think I do not know this? This is why I say you are preaching to the choir. Maybe blacks are not as unified as Hispanics and Asians, but that has nothing to do with myself. I am an individual and I will not let the fact that blacks are less unified stop me from progressing in life.
Yes, it maybe of Spanish root, but where my parents got my name from has nothing to do with it!
Who ever you are, you are talking a lot of gibberish and rhetoric. You think you figured me out and you have not. Please, get a life and stop worrying about me. Thanks!!!

Mr. Forby,
Just to comment — tangential to the subject (sort of) — that I was drawn to your site following links on Ted Hayes. Firstly, I wanted to compliment you on the site; it is quite handsome and well done. I appreciate your opinions on various matters (however infrequently written). I would rather read and consider pithy commentary that comes along once in a while rather than daily drivel.
I sit here in my white, middle-class neighborhood, a frightened 60-year-old white man fearing vast hordes of hispanics threatening to change my comfortable world. It was then that I realized that I had much more in common with the Mr. Hayes (homeless?) and Terry Anderson and all other Americans and I should wake up.
In reality, my thoughts are NOT of race but of country and sovereignty; I realize that if something is to be done about the 11 million guests who invited themselves into our land and now clamor to be given what people of all races worked hard to earn over the years, then the value of being a citizen of the United States of America will be civilized to the point of insignificance.
Keep up the work on your blog, it’s a good one. Hope you don’t mind my dropping in from time-to-time..
..meanwhile, I gotta get in touch with Terry Anderson. Now where did I put that phone number?

Black Pundit, I hope it’s not the Hispanics/Blacks or any other ethnic groups that will be our future. For the sake of our children, I hope people like you and me will be our future. Our ideals are for Country first, not just what benefits our own subculture in the U.S. We can’t afford to turn into a third world country ourselves. Without the adherence to laws, we become another Mexico where there is corruption from the beat cop to the highest politicians. Yes, we too have corrpution, but we strive to PROSECUTE illegal activity. If strawberries go to $50/bucket, so be it. I won’t eat strawberries that’s all. BTW - I mailed my tax returns today - did it occur to me that my returns might be stolen (by perp or gov’t employee) or lost in the mail? Not for a second - Viva La U.S.

I wish to live long enough to see Mexico thrive economically, socially, etc., only to have the Mexican way-of-life imposed upon by millions of illegals (Eskimos, Timbuktuians, whatever) crossing into their borders making the same demands on them that the current idiots are demanding of the U.S. They exclude the ILLEGAL word in their protests because if they included it, they don’t have a leg to stand on. I am a first generation Eskimo!

The beautiful city of Hawthorne, CA has been ruined by illegal immigration, the once nice shopping centers, (have too many people of Latino descent who just loiter) banks (covered with grafitti) and parks(full of migrant mothers and their many children) are over-run with people who need to be propped up by social services. I have seen several migrant men who urinate in public, behind soda machines, at the bustop, and once by my car…….they dont even try to hide behind a building to go to the bathroom. Is this what you enjoy bringing to the U.S.? What do the intelligent Latinos have to say to this? Do we just take in more and more people till California becomes bankrupt? Till the system fails? How come Latinos never address how much it costs to take on all these people? Are there any honest Latinos out there who will discuss the money issues- it takes money, and lots of it to help poor Mexicans. Will all the Latino activists disuss the toll it’s taking on the U.S? No, they will just change the subject. On any given Saturday, Hawthorne resembles Calcutta, India, or Tijuana, Mexico……..it is too many people period, no matter what race. Illegal Immigration is turning the U.S. into one big ghetto……….most latinos are not success stories. A lot do not graduate from high school, or go to college.

Excuse me, I didn’t choose to immigrate to a Spainish speaking country, why am I unable to get a job because I don’t speak Spainish? Notice I can still get a job if I don’t speak, Italian/German/French/Tagalog/Hungarian/Chinese/Arabic, etc. The reason for that is the La Raza’s. Did no one read how they pro border crossers tore down US flags & replaced them with Mexican ones? That spray painted “This is Mexico” on a busy US street? (Santa Ana, Vista, Oceanside California to name a few). La Raza’s are racists. Do you assume they like Afro/Americans any more than they like “gringos”? Not the ones I personally know. “White” people don’t count, or else they are rather stupid. (notice the skin color of the majority of ‘rulers’ & law makers) Do you know what it is like to be turned down for jobs simply because you are not Latino? (that goes for “whites” & “blacks”, and Indonesians, Japanese, and any number of other immigrants or born citizens or those heritages. The border crossers choose to cross the border, and are trying to force everyone who did not choose, to become Mexicans. (Alztan’s actually is their plan, California and 4 other states). The funniest thing to me, is they are speaking Spainish, the language of the people who stole the land from it’s natives. The majority of peoples below Mexico are Spainish speaking or a language that combines the original inhabitants, and the invaders. The La Raza’s, Mexican Mafia, MS=13 gangs, welfrare frauders truly have no place and need to be dealt with. I personally didn’t choose where to be born, my ancesters weren’t those that “stole” land, but immigrated, not to a Latino country but to an English speaking one, so why should I (and those like me) be forced to become a Mexican?

Black Americans there are as many of you as there are of them…and you are legal…and you don’t have to worry about sneaking your family over the border…stop falling into the traps that the white man puts out there for you (dopes sell dope and dopes use dope) and don’t fall for the b.s.. and don’t look back at whose is behind you or in front of you…just keep running for the finish line!

Observer, who is blaming anything on the white man? If you are familiar with this site, you will know I hate the “blame the white man concept”. And trust me, there is no falling into the white’s man trap!

”Gloria, your [sic] preaching to the choir!!!”

who is blaming anything on the white man?

It appears that you and Ms. Norwood are. Also, it seems to me that when some Blacks aren’t blaming whites or Mexicans, they are blaming the “oriental one-penny countin’ motherfuckers” (Koreans) for their societal woes.

Me telling Gloria to stop preaching to the chior was not on her comment about, ”Black Americans…stop falling into the traps that the white man puts out there for you…” Trust me!

I seen it all folks i never thought that you would start blaming other races for your problem’s.
Black people are falling for the bait the racist Republicans have set for theme telling theme that the Latinos are the reason they are having such a hard time.

This isn’t a new phenomenon among some Blacks;
Misplaced rage among some inner-city Blacks towards certain ethnic groups is nothing new, nor is it unique to “Latinos.” Some 40 years ago Jewish shopkeepers and merchants in Harlem were also the target of Black inner city rage and open hostility. The Black writer James Baldwin noted, “Just as society must have a scapegoat, so hatred must have a symbol. Georgia has the Negro, and Harlem has the Jew.” A few years ago, it was Koreans that were the target of Black rage.

“Few people ever heard of Liberator, a monthly magazine aimed at black nationalists, until Writer James Baldwin and Actor Ossie Davis gave it some recent notoriety. Both resigned from the staff with a blast at Editor Daniel Watts. “I think it is immoral,” said Baldwin, “to blame Harlem on the Jew.” Said Davis: “This is where I get off.” Ever since it was founded in 1960, Liberator has been building up to antiSemitism. From white-baiting, it passed to the baiting of moderate Negroes and finally to Jew-baiting. Jewish merchants exploit Harlem Negroes, screams Liberator;…”
