Updating BlackPundit

Hello All,

I am updating BlackPundit to Word Press version 2.0.4 and changing the theme for this site. Please feel free to comment BlackPundit on its new look.

    Black Pundit, I liked your old blogs colors more - because it was easier to read with the black writing and gray back-ground. I like this blogs lay-out also, the only problem is the colors. The black background is really not friendly it is too dark, and it makes it hard to read. Even if the writing is white it is still too dark. I would change the black back-ground to another color like gray, white, off white, khaki, or some color you would like too try out. Try many colors and choose the best you like. Also, that teal on black (or dark gray) I would use teal on a light color back-ground like white. Not on black or dark gray. The major thing is change your back ground color. Also, I noticed that I can not increase the font text size of your words that you wrote in your essay post. You need to put the text in percentages or if you use pixel (px) like you are currently using then I recommend you raise the pixel up to at least a 17px or 18px because it is too small and hard to read because it can not be increased. I like the lay-out with the side bar on the left, and I like the way you have the home, about me, let’s talk, and my photos area on your blog at the top. So the blog layout is nice but the color black as a background and the small writing  needs to change for the better these are just some of my recommendations and what I say is irrelevant.

    Very good input Reviewer. I also like the layout and I was thinking about the black background. At first, the text was grey and it was hard to see. So I changed it to white. But, I’ll look into changing the text size and the background/text color.

    Like the new site very much. Haven’t read your blog for a while so nice surprize. Quite like the black background my self.

    I like a lot of what you have to say. I would like to comment that as a web designer, I can tell you that while a black background looks cool, it does not test well at all for ease of reading. More people will leave a site with a black background then stay on it regardless of its content.

    And as eyes age, it becomes increasingly difficult to read. It is better to use a light background of any color with dark text.

    I do hope that you will post a lot more often in the near future!
